London-based duo Metropolitan Soul Museum (Nick Woolfson and Filippo Rocco) have been running the Teng label since 2013. Woolfson was also part of Mock & Toof, a duo that generated quite a buzz with their freaky house music in the early 2010s. Metropolitan Soul Museum follow their self-released 2015 Ruff Trk 4 12", which featured a remix by Round (John Talabot's Hivern Discs), with the Tesla EP, featuring a remix by Tuff City Kids. Metropolitan Soul Museum's studio setup is informed by their live act, which features 707, vintage keys, and various effects. House. Good taste. Limited edition of 300.
