drumcell: departing comfort

Drumcell has put together an excellent package of three heavyweight remixes of "Departing Comfort," a track from his acclaimed 2013 debut full-length Sleep Complex. Planetary Assault Systems' remix is elegantly driving, straightforward, deep techno. Orphx's remix remains faithful to the broken-beat structure of the original and creates a suspenseful atmosphere with distorted rhythms and acidic sequences. Material Object's remix is characterized by a big, hypnotic bassline, slowly building with a variety of well-chosen rhythmic elements and textures.
