frank & tony: harmonium

Frank & Tony present their third release of 2016, Harmonium EP. Toms and effervescent drum patterning get things started on "Serenade". Swirling pads, alongside a driving two-note bass, lay the groundwork before siren-like synths call out. "Hardrian" takes the tempo down and conjures basement rave vibes with its propelling bass line and cavernous pads. The title cut takes things into open-air - Airy pads and a buoyant bass carry the track and the drum patterning further lightens the tone. The duo take on John Beltran's classic "Gutaris Breeze (6000km To Amsterdam)" from his 1996 album, Ten Days of Blue.
