Drumma presents its twenty-second release, Lágrimas de Sangre EP, by Gianni and Guillermo de Caminos, including a remix by Janeret in a collaboration with producers from Chile, Argentina and France. Gianni is an upcoming DJ/producer originally from Santiago de Chile who has performed at clubs including Fabric London, CDV and Hoppetosse, as well as promoting his own events in Chile. Guillermo de Caminos represents a new generation of producers from Rosario, Argentina, a pioneering scene and the birthplace of DJs such as Franco Cinelli, Andres Zacco, Jorge Savoretti or Mariano, who have developed an experimental and authentic sound. According to its creators, the Lágrimas de Sangre EP comes in response to the complex moment faced by humanity in general. In these times of social crisis, nequality and disenchantment have triggered popular uprisings which in turn have been violently repressed. This is the inspiration for the title “Lágrimas de Sangre”, which means “Tears of Blood” in Spanish, a reference to the point-blank shootings by Chilean police during social protests in 2019 which resulted in many protestors losing their sight. Against this harsh backdrop, Gianni y Guillermo explore a minimalist, textural and abstract musical line with a strong club vibe. The remix was produced by Janeret, who has developed an exceptional minimalist version, demonstrating why he is one of the biggest names in the current scene.
