rsd 2019. For the first time ever, Idles' 2015 EP Meat is available on vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day 2019. The four track EP has been described as a departure of the band's original post-punk sound and an embrace of a more pub rock and punk-oriented sound. The orchestration of the band's first two albums, Brutalism (2017) and Joy as an Act of Resistance (2018) have been linked to the sound of Meat. Also included is the remix EP Meta with remixes from: David Pajo (Slint), Thom (Alt J), Pete Robertson (The Vaccines, Sunan), and Sly One. White vinyl in a single-spine sleeve.
