lol k: the breeze

The Breeze is a collection of 6 new songs exploring ideas of queer revenge, escapism, belonging, and inner city isolation. As a culmination of a year and a half of recording since 2018’s Born under a Bad One on Curl Recordings, Lol K crystallize their sound on their Halcyon Veil debut. Lyrically understated, complexity forms through a process of juxtaposing tonal moods. Melodies remain restrained, working hand over hand to develop a shared musical language. Calderwood & Junior XL share more vocals this time out, along with one other guest appearance from rising star LA Timpa.
