Long time friend of the label Myler finally makes his South London Analogue Material debut with ‘Lord of the ASBO’. The EP starts with driving kicks, hypnotic wandering synths and the noisy dissonant stabs of ‘Mandem’ before taking a more melancholy turn. ‘Shutter Windows’ slows things down with eerie echoes, dusty thudding kick drums and subtle synths before ‘Whiskey & White Women’ finishes the last of the originals with a drum track full of trippy percussion and masterful groove. Bad boy Keepsakes is back on the label after SLAM003 and finishes the EP with his take on ‘Shutter Windows’.
