january 20 2105 release. First released in 1989, Doolittle was the second Pixies album, first to be made com­mercially available in the US. An instant hit with both critics and fans, its slow burn success has since helped it to sell close to a million copies in the US alone. In 2009, the band toured the album for it’s 20th anni­versary, and now at the 25th anniversary, they’ve decided it’s now time to give it the deluxe release treatment it deserves. Sleeve designer Vaughan Oliver returns too, reinterpreting his original design and Simon Larbalestier’s photographs for a stunning jacket, printed in me­tallic ink.
