pris: flagrant foul

Psyk's Non Series label delivers Flagrant Foul, a new EP from Pris. He's an artist with a deep heady techno sound with previous work on Semantica, Avian and his own Resin; Flagrant Foul is four more of his serene and stylish tracks. "Flagrant Foul" sets the tone with a flurry of 909s before "Leech", a tunnel-vision groove streamlined and stripped back to icy hi hats and rumbling bass. "Submit" is a dark passage of drones and edgy pads before "Velvet Lips" concludes things with bristling drum programming. It's cavernous, atmospheric techno that really sucks you in from start to finish.
