The exclusive vinyl release of Shintaro Sakamoto's brilliant third solo album, with completely different art work from the now out-of-print Japanese release. Comes with full -color inserts with translations of all the lyrics, and digital download cards. Love If Possible was written and recorded by Sakamoto over the course of two years, and once again features Yuta Suganuma (Cornelius) on drums and AYA (OOIOO) on bass. And following a seven-year sabbatical from live shows since YYT disbanded in 2010, this Mesh-Key LP arrives just as Sakamoto, Suganuma and AYA prepare their first-ever live shows in Cologne and Berlin in the fall of 2017, with more shows planned for 2018. Shintaro Sakamoto founded the now-legendary psychedelic rock band Yura Yura Teikoku in Tokyo in 1989. Over their 21-years together , YYT released ten critically acclaimed studio albums on Midi, Sony, DFA and Mesh-Key , and brought their mind-bending live show around the world, becoming one of the very few modern Japanese groups to make a real impact internationally. In 2011, Sakamoto launched his own record label, Zelone Records, and released his now classic debut solo album, How To Live With A Phantom. Both How To Live and Sakamoto's second album, Let's Dance Raw were licensed for release in North America by Other Music Recording Co. (NYC)
