tadd mullinix: skein

Bopside’s first release for 2016 comes from label owner Tadd Mullinix, releasing under his birth name for the first time since 2002’s ‘Panes’ on Ghostly International. This album is comprised of 3 long form experimental electro-acoustic compositions, 2 of which clock in around the 15 minute mark, and another clocking in around 9 minutes, taking you fully into the imagination of an artist who is constantly experimenting and redefining the sonic landscape. Recorded on a variety of equipment and instruments, these 3 recordings capture a human side and sense of playfulness, while at the same time taking you into the heart of darkness.
