Hand-stamped numbered edition of 300. Takasi Nakajima (Different World with Claude Young) has been DJing and producing since 1994, yet this is his debut solo release. "Basicmath One" is seven minutes of delicate ambience suspended in mid-air, "Basicmath Two" is a deep and supple techno groove with starry night skies unfolding over tom-layered kicks, and "Basicmath Three" gets more propulsive with its soul-infused synths, straight hi-hats, and classic Detroit vibes. Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff's remix of "Basicmath One" layers in a much heavier and more physical kick drum.
