The June edition of The Wire will be the magazine's 400th issue. We're marking this landmark moment in the life of the magazine with a special cover and a number of essays and thinkpieces reflecting on the first 35 years of The Wire's existence. Contributors will include David Toop, David Keenan, Meredith Monk, Chris Cutler and other critics and musicians whose work continues to influence or intersect with the weird and wonderful world of The Wire... Plus, as ever, we'll be filling the rest of the issue with the kind of (un)usual news, views, previews and reviews that each month go towards making The Wire the world's greatest music magazine!
