Belbury Poly's second long player, The Owl’s Map, pinpoints haunted roads, great days out, horror stories and lost footage on a topography of melodic electronics. The booklet includes a brief tourist guide to the landmarks and legends of Belbury. Belbury Poly is the music of Jim Jupp, somewhat radiophonic, sometimes naïve and playful, other times unsettling yet often oddly familiar. These might be soundtracks for shelved children’s TV programs too spooky have been aired.
