Token presents Ra Ra Replica, the new EP from hardened UK techno artist Makaton. Steve Bailey, aka Makaton, has been releasing hard-line techno since 1999, and his debut on Token, 2009's Leave Them All Behind, was described by Resident Advisor as "hypnotic, swathed in enigmatic chord sequences." It was also his last release on Token, until now. After a five-year hiatus, Makaton storms back to Token with the psycho cluster synths of "Lead You Astray," the frenetic 909 workouts of "Night #1," the shuddering industrialisms of "Spit to Lubricate," and the loopy electro tones of "Dstablise."
