Blank Code presents BCR001 - Circle 1 from Detroit producer Mutate aka Len Bartush delivered on 12” vinyl with custom made silk screened jackets and available digitally with an additional track found exclusively on the digital release. Already making its way into select DJ sets, the title track’s deep repetitive bass complemented by dubbed out synths echoing through space make this track perfect for any occasion you would want to immerse yourself in pure techno. Audio Injection pushes the track into heavier, darker territory, while Droid Behavior resident Drumcell deconstructs the standard 4/4 beat and turns the track into a primal, energetic cacophony of interlocking rhythms. Bas Mooy’s reinterpretation is an incredible track driven by the thick atmosphere of the original rearranged into a head-spinning groove. The digital version Dub Edit 2 is dub in the classic sense. Dark, moody bass driven by steady percussion.
