Standalone edition of Zehn | Fünf, originally included as one of ten 12"s in the 2015 Ostgut Ton | Zehn box released for the Ostgut Ton label's 2015 ten-year anniversary. DVS1's "[Ecks]" is a deep, hypnotic techno cut with meandering bleeps, well suited for and paying homage to the early hours and calmer moments of Berghain's cavernous main room. Answer Code Request's "Zeitspielraum" layers break-heavy rhythms, luscious synth pads, and spiraling melodies. Steffi and Martyn -- as Doms & Deykers -- deliver the eight-minute "Whirling," which opens with an Amen break-inspired rhythm section before evolving into something bordering on electro and acid house.
