feroX's Gargoyles EP is a bad acid mix of an unhealthy "Video Nasties" VHS tape obsession, an 808 drum machine, and deft drum programming skills. On "Gargoyle," a hypnotic 4x4 attack is the solid foundation of repetitive sinister samples. "Critter" jumps in dubstep's grave with a lurching tribal swing and abyssal bass depth. "goD" and "Beyond" are nods to psychedelic sample realms with a hip-hop heart. Comes on splattered white and red vinyl. Limited to 300 copies.
